THE YOUTH CENTER-

To propose a youth centre (cultural space to the youngster) including those with impairments for their leisure and interaction. A major program and its supportive spaces are required in the proposal not only for Youth Centre operation but able to correspond both aesthetically and and functionally for indoor and outdoor environments in the context. Requirement for the design proposal are :
Size : Total built-up area (200sqm - 1000sqm) with 2 storey
Who : 50-100 person
What : Concept of “Urban-Infill” and “Transitional Spaces” when new development is inserted into existing urban fabric . Activity designed suitable for a youth centre comprised of community and interaction.
The SERO @ TTDI is a youth center located in the Taman Tun Dr Ismail, focusing on the health and well being of the youth. The programs of the design expresses the importance of the mental health of the youths as such the archery zone and the fine art studio. The interior is focused on the traditional timber outlook to achieve a 'zen' like feel .
