History + Civic + Technology
The design proposals, incorporated with 3 different factors.
-
History : Elements of history translated in terms of spaces , materiality, and the purpose to the users.
-
Civic : Human - centric design, for the people to indulge in a public realm, as a point of gathering to wind off from the surrounding heavy commercialised area.
-
Technology : Incorporation of modern technology form as such LED screens, structural components, & etc, gives the touch of modernity.

In the subject BTAR3015- Design Project Publication - The discussion of the essay is The Interconnectivity between Streetscapes and Public Plaza around the building . It is an environment setting for the community to spend their lives efficiently, sustainably and memorably. The idea of public realm is made to be significant through the natural elements into the design to balance out the active spaces for social activities and for the quality of relaxation. The succession of the space is because of the vision to keep the public realm lively beyond working hours and to be a point of placemaking.

PERFORMANCES PROPOSAL

Type of performances that I propose to be held in the PAC design is theaterical play, that involves re-enacting of famous novels of local and international, contemporaty concert (musical) that does not involve opera type of instruments . Encourages the local musician such as street busking to play at the PAC.

Alongside theater play and musical concert, experimental theater is used for solo performances of singing, dancing, or of small group performances of 4-5 people. The PAC design is to encourage the local people to :
- Appreciate art and to preserve the culture
- Attract more people to be involved in this form of art
- Provide more platforms for the performers
